As a pioneer in the energy and chemical industry, a leading enterprise in Shaanxi has consistently focused on improving production efficiency and equipment reliability. Over years of operation, the company faced persistent challenges, including valve wear and inadequate sealing, particularly in processes involving black water, desulfurization and denitrification, and pneumatic ash conveying in boilers. Kingway addressed these challenges with its advanced ceramiC Valve technology, delivering effective solutions that earned high recognition from the client.
Key Milestones in Collaboration
2016The company’s black water control system adopted Kingway's ceramic control Ball Valves (DN150/300LB) for the first time. These valves operated for 1.5 years without any wear before being replaced due to pipeline upgrades to DN400. Their exceptional durability was highly commended.
2017During desulfurization and denitrification upgrades in the thermal power workshop, Kingway ceramic Control Valves (DN50/150LB) were implemented. Aside from a routine replacement of packing seals, the valves maintained stable operation for over five years, with excellent feedback from on-site personnel.
2021 At the beginning of the year, the boiler pneumatic ash conveying system in the thermal power workshop encountered challenges due to unstable coal sources and varying ash content, which demanded superior wear resistance from the valves. The existing metal hard-sealed dome valves and ceramic swing valves experienced severe wear within just six months, frequently leading to internal and external leakage.

After reviewing the performance of Kingway’s valves in the black water and desulfurization sections, the company engaged in detailed discussions with Kingway regarding ash content and wear conditions. Following extensive on-site investigations, Kingway proposed replacing the failing valves with its FCRV Series Ceramic C Valves.
This series features structural ceramics with high hardness (HRA87), exceptional resistance to erosion and wear, and a wide sealing surface with a scraping seat design, ensuring reliable sealing and long service life.

2021In July, the FCRV Ceramic C Valves were officially installed. Under the standard operational procedures of the workshop, the valves were inspected during quarterly boiler maintenance. After one year of operation, the valves exhibited no wear, maintained excellent sealing, and passed the warranty period without any issues.
2022Encouraged by the success of the initial ceramic C Valve, the company purchased three additional units of the same model, further solidifying Kingway’s position as a trusted partner.
2024As of August 2024, all four ceramic C Valves have been operating smoothly, with no reported failures.

Superior Performance and Cost Efficiency
Compared to traditional metal hard-sealed dome valves and pneumatic ceramic swing valves, Kingway’s ceramic C Valves have demonstrated unparalleled advantages in terms of service life and maintenance costs.
While the initial investment is higher, the extended fault-free operational period—exceeding three years—and significant reductions in maintenance and labor costs make ceramic C Valves far more cost-effective over the long term. Current projections indicate a total operational lifespan exceeding five years.

A Proven Solution for Harsh Conditions
The successful application of Kingway ceramiC Valves in this energy and chemical enterprise has not only resolved longstanding issues of valve wear and sealing but also significantly reduced maintenance costs and enhanced production efficiency and equipment reliability.
This case highlights the exceptional performance and long-term value of Kingway ceramic valves in challenging environments, providing a valuable reference for other companies in the industry.
