FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve: High-Efficiency Sealing Solution from China Suppliers and Factory

In various industries, particularly those in China, there exists a pressing need for valves that can withstand highly erosive conditions. These environments often involve media that are viscous, prone to caking, scaling, crystallizing, or containing large particles, leading to frequent clogs in traditional valves. To address these challenges, our KOWOV series ceramic C valve stands out as a reliable solution, functioning effectively as both a control valve and a shut-off valve. This valve is designed with exceptional sealing performance and smooth operation, making it ideal for overcoming clogging situations, Unlike conventional eccentric and double eccentric valves available from many suppliers, the KOWOV valve features a unique non-eccentric design. This design ensures that there is no erosion of the valve stem, even at small opening angles, providing maximum protection and durability. Our factory is committed to delivering high-quality valves that meet the specific needs of various industries while ensuring reliability and efficiency in demanding environments. Choose KOWOV for a superior valve solution in challenging applications

The ball crown of the valve maintains close contact with the seat, allowing for the shearing of adhered materials and debris on the sealing pair, ensuring the cleanliness of the sealing surfaces. The inherent self-lubricating properties of ceramics ensure that the ball core and the seat do not stick to the medium.

The design adopts a structural configuration with upper and lower support shafts for positioning. The support shafts are statically fitted with the valve body, preventing any tilting of the C-rotary. The valve stem is set inside the upper support shaft, and the thrust of the medium on the C-rotary is borne by the upper and lower support shafts, with the valve stem only transmitting the torque for opening and closing the ball valve.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
    Q
What is the FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve and how does it work?
The FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve is a specially designed ball valve featuring a ceramic ball crown mechanically connected via C-type lugs. The ball crown maintains close contact with the seat, allowing it to shear adhered materials and debris during operation. Upper and lower support shafts position the C-rotary, while the valve stem transmits only the opening and closing torque — making it ideal for demanding industrial slurry and corrosive media applications.
    Q
What sealing standard does the FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve achieve?
The FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve achieves ANSI Class VI sealing. This is made possible by the fixed ball design, which prevents ball core movement under pressure, resulting in low operating torque and a tight, reliable seal even under harsh operating conditions.
    Q
Which ceramic materials are used in the FCRV valve, and why are they superior?
The valve utilizes advanced ceramic materials including Y-ZrO₂ (Y-TZP), Mg-ZrO₂ (M-PSZ), and various grades of Al₂O₃ (90%, 95%, 99%), as well as Si₃N₄ and SiC. These ceramics offer exceptional hardness (up to HRA 94), high compressive strength (up to 2800 MPa), near-zero water absorption, and excellent corrosion resistance against acids, alkalis, and other aggressive media — significantly outperforming common ceramics and standard steel in demanding environments.
    Q
What industries and applications is the FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve suitable for?
The FCRV valve is designed for a wide range of demanding industrial applications, including the Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) industry, salt chemical industry, petrochemical industry (catalyst units and FCC units), mining and metallurgy (copper concentrate transport), dye manufacturing, and the pulp and paper industry. It excels wherever crystallization, scaling, caking, high solid content, or clogging is a concern.
    Q
What size range is available for the FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve?
The FCRV Ceramic C Rotary Valve is available in a wide range of nominal diameters from DN50 (2") up to DN400 (16"), covering ball bore sizes from 2" to 16" in round shape. Both GB PN10 and HG PN10 flange configurations are supported, with detailed exterior dimensions and weight specifications available for each size.
    Q
How does the ceramic lining protect the valve against corrosion?
All flow passages in contact with the process medium are fully lined with high-performance ceramic material. Ceramics such as ZrO₂ and 99.9% Al₂O₃ achieve an "A" rating (≤ 0.1 mmg/cm²/day corrosion rate) against aggressive media including 20% HCl, 90% H₂SO₄, 60% H₃PO₄, 60% HNO₃, and 30% NaOH at temperatures up to 95°C. This full ceramic lining ensures long service life and minimal maintenance in highly corrosive environments.
